About me
Hello, my name is Leonardo Batista, and I am from Panama. I currently work at the University of Panama, specifically at the FabLab UP-CIDETE. I am passionate about digital fabrication, especially 3D design and 3D printing. Joining the FabAcademy is a big challenge for me, as my English is not perfect, but my desire to learn and deepen my knowledge in the world of digital fabrication surpasses any language barrier. I am always looking for challenges that allow me to grow and develop my skills.
Currently, I have skills in:
3D modeling in Fusion 360
3D printing
2D design
Laser cutting and vinyl cutting
Large format printing and rigid material flatbed printing
Basic knowledge of CNC
Programming in C, Java, and Python (basic level, with the intention of improving during the course)
Objetive
My personal goal is to continue exploring and learning new digital fabrication technologies to expand my abilities and contribute to innovative projects.
Among my personal interests, I love Dragon Ball, an anime that represents constant self-improvement and shows that nothing and no one defines your limits. One of my favorite quotes is: "If a loser puts in a lot of effort, he might surpass the power of a distinguished warrior."
